My story

Jax: An Energetic Goofball with a Big Heart DOB: 4/25/22 Jax is a joyful, big-hearted goofball who lives life in energetic bursts followed by long, cozy naps. One minute he’s zooming around like a tiny athlete, the next he’s dozing in one of his carefully chosen favorite spots. He loves being near his people, often hanging out in the same room while everyone does their own thing. When the mood strikes, he’ll happily sprawl on top of you for cuddles - always on his terms. Jax is a nonstop purr machine, incredibly personable, and genuinely enjoys meeting new people. Playtime is his favorite way to bond, and he brings enthusiasm and joy to every interaction. Because Jax feels everything in big ways, he’s best suited for a cat-savvy home without young children - one that understands playful overstimulation and can read his cues. When he’s overwhelmed, overly excited, or impatient for food, he may nip, but with routine, redirection, and interactive play, these moments are very manageable. Being held feels a bit too restrictive for his free spirit, though he tolerates brief hugs and short pick-ups when needed. Curious and clever, Jax enjoys exploring high places and staying involved in whatever his people are doing. He would thrive in a home with space to explore, plenty of enrichment, and people who want a fun, affectionate companion who truly wants to be part of the pack.
