My story

Looking for the cutest underbite in town? Look no further! Collum is a sweet and shy guy, who is a perfect small-medium size. As an undersocialized dog, Collum had a slow start with things like walking on leash, soliciting attention, passing through doorways and many other things that we might consider “normal.” Thankfully, Collum is bright, brave and empowered by the presence of another dog. We are looking to place Collum in a home with a confident resident dog, to help his true personality shine — in the presence of another dog, Collum jumps for human attention, plays and shows his true happy-go-lucky self. In addition to having another dog, the perfect adopter for Collum will be patient (willing to meet him a couple times here) and have a quiet home life (while he is building confidence, a busy backyard BBQ or party would overwhelm him). In return for your patience, you’ll receive a loyal companion who is playful, silly and just the most endearing little fella. Ready for Collum to steal your heart? Come meet him at the shelter Wed-Sun from 1-6pm (or give us a call in advance to learn more and set up a dog try with your pup)!
