I lost my big boy of 14 yrs back in March. It was totally unexpected. I told my other rescue kitty, Maria we would find someone who needed us most soon. I went to Petsmart that Friday of Memorial Day weekend to look.
We had a rough year in 2019 when it came to adopting a pet. Both kittens we were going to adopt at two separate times ended up passing away suddenly before we adopted them. We were heartbroken, however, that's when a miracle happened.
Losing a cat is unbearable pain. We experienced this in June, when we lost our beloved Max only 4 short years after adopting him at 6 months old. We focused on our other sweet furbabies, knowing someday another sweet soul would need us again.
We have to 2 older adult cats and a dog that we have rescued. They are our babies and spoiled with love! I noticed my cats needed to move more and play. What better way to make that happen? Enter our newest baby Checkers!
