When Miranda met Bosco at PetSmart Charities adoption center, she immediately knew he’d be the perfect addition to her growing fur-family. Miranda was actively looking for a companion for her first feline companion, Scout. Bosco’s perpetual zest for life and youthful energy made him a great match for Scout but, what Miranda didn’t know was just how much Bosco would impact Scout’s life for the best.
“Not only did he change my life but he also changed his brother Scout’s life. He has given Scout a lifelong friend that he can chase and wrestle, but also cuddle with and love forever.”
We caught up with Miranda and Bosco on how they plan to celebrate their first holiday as a family of three.
What has been your biggest learning as a new pet parent to Bosco?
The biggest thing I learned when I adopted Bosco was that two cats are definitely better than one. I also learned that I couldn’t put any ornaments on the tree because he would knock them all down and that a self-cleaning litter box is a must!
What are Bosco’s top 5 favorite things to do?
1. Climb the Christmas tree
2. Play with his brother Scout
3. Sit on the window sill with Scout watching the lizards, birds & squirrels
4. Cuddle and rub his face on mine
5. Take long cat naps
How has being a pet parent to Bosco changed your life?
Being a pet parent to Bosco has had a huge impact on my life. From the day I met him I knew that he would make a great addition to the family and I just had to have him. He always keeps me laughing with all the silly things he does. Not only did he change my life but he also changed his brother Scout’s life. He has given Scout a lifelong friend that he can chase and wrestle, but also cuddle with (especially lick) and love forever. Watching them play together and see Scout be so playful, active and loving towards Bosco really fills my heart with joy. Finally, being able to give Bosco such a loving home and knowing that he is so much happier now makes me incredibly happy and I am so lucky that I found him.
If Bosco could make a holiday wish list, what would be on it?
-
A ton of Christmas trees to climb in
-
Toys with lots of feathers and bells
-
Catnip
-
Unlimited amount of cat treats
-
A puppy brother or sister to play with
What are you most looking forward to on your first Holiday with Bosco?
The main thing I’m looking forward to on my first holiday with Bosco is to see his big eyes light up as he plays with all of his new toys. And, to see him bounce off the walls when he gets a bunch of catnip!
