QUICK FACTS Name: Haribo Age: 3 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Mini Poodle Color: Brown Weight:  5kg / 11lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a Poodle puppy mill, where life wasn't the loving, comfortable experience every dog deserves. Thankfully, I was given a second chance and brought to safety, where I can finally receive the care and attention I need. Now I'm ready to leave my past behind and begin a happier chapter! I'm hoping to find a loving forever family who will cherish me, help me experience all the wonderful things life has to offer, and show me what it truly means to be part of a family.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I'm a tiny, adorable boy with a gentle heart and a curious nature! I can be a little shy at first, but there's a sweet little personality waiting to shine through. Having spent my entire life in a puppy mill, I haven't had many opportunities to socialize or experience the world outside. Everything is still quite new to me, so I'm learning to explore and build my confidence at my own pace. Although I'm shy, I'm very tolerant of being touched and handled, which shows just how much potential I have! Volunteers and staff believe that with patience, gentle encouragement, and lots of love, I'll gradually come out of my shell and blossom into a wonderful companion. I may be small, but I have so much love and potential waiting to be discovered!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I may be a little shy when we first meet, but I warm up quickly once I feel comfortable! I have a sweet, gentle nature and happily accept pets and cuddles when given a little time to settle in. I also don't mind being picked up and held. With a gentle approach and a little affection, you'll soon see my adorable personality shine through! · With Dogs: I'm friendly with other dogs and enjoy saying hello to new doggy friends! However, I'm not the type to jump straight into playtime. I prefer to take things at my own pace and am perfectly happy doing my own thing. I'm a gentle, independent little boy who enjoys the company of other dogs without needing to be the centre of attention! · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I'm still learning my leash manners, but I'm making steady progress with every walk! With a little patience and practice, I'm sure I'll continue to improve. I'm a well-mannered little boy when it comes to mealtime and don't show any food guarding behaviours around people or other dogs. I currently don't show signs of separation anxiety, although I may become more attached as I develop a strong bond with my forever family. I'm also a very quiet boy who rarely barks and knows how to settle down and rest calmly in my kennel. As for potty habits, I'm comfortable going both outdoors and indoors on pee pads. I'm still learning about life outside the puppy mill, but I'm making progress and look forward to learning even more with my future family!   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I have a shy, gentle personality, but underneath my timid nature is a curious pup who's eager to discover the world around him. Having spent my entire life in a puppy mill, there are still so many things I haven't had the chance to experience. Sometimes I just need a little encouragement to take that first step, but with patience and gentle guidance, I'm learning to become more confident. Volunteers and staff see so much potential in me, and I'm looking for a loving family who will help me explore the world at my own pace. I may need a little extra time to come out of my shell, but I have a sweet heart and so much room to blossom.
