My story

Meet Sake, a handsome 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a sweet personality, playful spirit, and plenty of love to share! At around 51 pounds, Sake is an affectionate boy who loves spending time with his people. He enjoys playing fetch, splashing around in the kiddie pool, and getting plenty of attention. He's also quite the cuddle bug who loves leaning in for pets, climbing into laps, and sneaking in kisses whenever he gets the chance. Sake has been doing wonderfully in foster care! His foster describes him as a relaxed, well-behaved, and all-around fantastic houseguest. He's made absolutely no messes in the house, has excellent manners, and has shown that he knows how to settle down and relax. He's also been wonderful with other dogs! During a recent introduction to his foster's sister's dachshund, Sake was especially gentle, even lying down while they got acquainted. When his excitement picked up, he responded beautifully to a reminder to calm down. Sake has also previously spent time around children of various ages and was described as friendly, playful, and affectionate with them. Sake knows how to sit, has experience with crate routines, and enjoys opportunities to get outside and have some fun. While he certainly appreciates a good adventure, his foster has discovered that he's just as happy being a laid-back companion around the house. With his affectionate nature, good house manners, and friendly personality, Sake is ready to bring plenty of love and companionship to a family of his very own!
