BIRDIE

My story

Birdie – ID# 23018 – Kennel 54 – Arrived as a stray on September 30th, 2026 – Plott Hound mix – brown brindle and white – Female – 1 year old – 55 lbs (estimated adult weight approximately 60-65 lbs) – Will be spayed prior to adoption – Up to date on vaccines – Heartworm negative Birdie is a beautiful brindle girl with a rich, striking coat and soft, expressive eyes. Her unique brindle pattern makes her easy to admire. Birdie came to the shelter as a stray on September 30th, 2026. She's a little shy as she adjusts to her new surroundings, and patience with her is likely to be rewarded as she continues to warm up. Birdie knows how to sit, a sweet sign of her willingness to connect and learn even while she's still settling in. At just 1 year old, Birdie still has some growing and maturing ahead of her. She's ready for a patient family who can help her build confidence and discover just how sweet she truly is. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
