Happy

My story

Happy was rescued by my husband and I in Colorado when he was about 5.5 months old. He loved hiking, now walking. He is afraid of thunder, gun shots and fireworks. He was in love with my husband. We were always together. He's a herding dog but his DNA says 60% Australian Cattle dog, 30% Chihuahua, 10% doberman! He's smart and sensitive. He likes direction. He loves outings and behaves at restaurants. We moved to Florida for my husband's treatment. He passed away in '25, that's been hard on us both. Happy is medium in size but strong. I am going abroad. He's never flown or been boarded. He's good on the leash but can be unpredictable and may pull. At least two people to adopt him would be a good fit. He needs to keep everyone together (a job). He's a picky eater. He's good when left alone at home, he's rarely been left >6 hrs. He is a great companion, very loving. Happy is friendly, remembers people, places and walks. A brushing, an occasional cold rinse. No dog smell. Good home wanted.
