My story

Dolly is one of Shelby's ten adorable puppies, and she has already come a long way from the beginning of her story. Her mama, Shelby, was rescued from a culvert just four days before giving birth to her ten babies. Since then, Dolly and her siblings have been raised together in a loving foster home where they have been safe, cared for and surrounded by plenty of puppy companionship. Dolly is a petite, gentle girl who takes the world in a little more quietly than her brothers but maybe a little more loudly than her sisters. She still loves attention and play, and she melts for snuggles. She has been around young and older children and enjoys her interactions with them. She is also comfortable around both large and small dogs and has grown up as part of a very busy litter. Because Dolly is still very young, there is lots she hasn't experienced yet. She has not been out in public or started house, crate or leash training. Her foster family is beginning to introduce her to new experiences, but her forever family will need to continue building on that foundation with patience, consistency and plenty of positive socialization. Dolly is ready to leave her littermates behind and start the next exciting chapter of her life - growing into the wonderful dog she is meant to be with a family who will love, guide and cherish her. **adopters must be able to pick up in Niagara Falls, NY** Neck size (for collar): Approx. 11" Chest circumference (for harness): TBD Height (from top of head): Approx. 13" Length (from nose to base of tail): Approx. 18" Crate size recommended: TBD Good with adults: Yes Good with kids: Yes, she has been around both young and older children Good with other dogs: Yes, she does well with both large and small dogs, male and female Good with cats: Unknown House trained: No, too young and has never been outside Crate trained: No, crate training has not yet started Energy level: Medium Can be handled/touched: Yes Barker: Unknown Flight risk: Unknown Food aggressive: No concerns reported Current food: Puppy food Walks on leash: No, leash training has not yet started Leash reactive to people or dogs: Unknown Rides well in car: Unknown Destructive: Typical puppy behaviour; will need appropriate toys and supervision Needs a home with a yard: Yes Needs a home with another dog: No Can live in an apartment: No Please visit our website niagaradogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.
