Little Reba (20260928-05)

My story

Little Reba is a happy, curious puppy who loves exploring her surroundings and being part of the action. She has a wonderful balance of playful puppy energy and affection, making her equally happy investigating something new or coming over for some attention. She loves water, tennis balls and soft toys, and is always ready for a little playtime. Little Reba is still learning her puppy manners and will need continued work on house training, crate training and leash skills. She would thrive with a family who enjoys an interactive, playful puppy and is ready to help her grow into a confident and well-mannered adult dog. Foster Backstory: Little Reba and her littermates were found together in the middle of the road at approximately 8-9 weeks old. They were much too young to be out on their own and were fortunate to be brought to safety. Since entering rescue, Little Reba has been given the opportunity to simply be a puppy-safe, cared for and surrounded by people who are helping her prepare for her future. Now this affectionate little girl is ready for the next step: finding a family of her own where she can continue to grow, learn and discover all the good things life has to offer. **adopters must be able to pick up in Niagara Falls, NY** Neck size (for collar): Medium Chest circumference (for harness): Medium Height (from top of head): TBD Length (from nose to base of tail): TBD Crate size: Large Good with adults: Yes Good with kids: No experience Good with dogs: Yes, good with other large dogs; she enjoys engaging them and may bark to get their attention Good with cats: No experience House trained: No Crate trained: No Energy level: Medium Can be handled/touched: Yes Barker: May bark at other dogs when trying to engage them Flight risk: No; however, all dogs should be considered flight risks in new environments Food aggressive: Mild food guarding has been observed with litter mates; all dogs should be fed separately Current food: Pedigree Puppy Walks well on leash: No Leash reactive to people or dogs: No experience Rides well in cars: Yes Destructive: Normal puppy behaviour; enjoys chewing and may pull the stuffing out of soft toys Needs a home with a yard: Yes Needs a home with another dog: No Can live in an apartment: No Please visit our website niagaradogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.
