My story

Hello my name is Ridge. I’m a hound mix 7-8 months old about 27 lbs . I’m about a 7-8 energy level. I love to play w my dog buddies. I like cats but maybe a little too much energy for kittens still . I like to play king of the hill and run in mud puddles after big rains. I’m really starting to warm up and seek attention from people now . I love feeling good included w the pack . I love treats . Im pretty much potty trained now if let out at 7 am then 1-2 x’s a day then evenings play time . Quite longer . Is my schedule right now. I know kennel up . Inside , out side . NO , OUT . I’m around horses and doing well. Also chickens and ducks. Doing well also but need someone listening for chickens/ ducks sounding distressed some cuz I can’t help but want to see them sometimes so I chase. Just that puppy energy though 😇 Same w kittens. 😇 Learning to sit . Will b working more on leash now. I’m pretty docile and mellow in a vehichle . I do like to bark when people come to door or at people walking at night w flashlight. Hehe. I’m friendly w people I know otherwise I just go about my puppy business and play w my dog friends . It has taken me a while to come out of my shell, but I am coming out of it and I’m gonna be a good dog I think for families or for sure. One person just have to be a little slower with me. I have my reservations. I’m definitely seeking human praise and wanting to be around humans more and more and more now😇 so good with anybody as long as they’re willing to give me a little bit of time to come around and don’t expect a super in your lap puppy.
