My story

Earl Grey is a sweet grey tabby with a gentle heart and a quirky soul. Earl loves nothing more than being close to his people. He enjoys being curled up in your lap, sitting proudly on you, or pressing his little face right next to yours. He’ll gaze deeply into your eyes as if he’s memorizing the face of the person he loves. His loves head scratches and chin rubs. Those for sure bring out his happy purrs. Earl Grey is cuddly, playful, and spunky, with just enough lovable goofiness to make you smile. Even when he knows he’s in trouble, he starts purring, as though he’s quietly asking, “You still love me, right?” And honestly, how could you not? Earl is the kind of little soul who just wants to be close, feel safe, and have someone to call his own.Earl Grey will be in for adoption hours Saturday 9/26 from 10-4 pm. Come meet him! Our kittens grow up in foster homes, so they are not located on site for walk in visits. While we do our best to list what day they will be on site for adoption hours, please feel free to call the shelter at 480-497-8296 and press # to speak to our front desk and confirm availability. Our kittens are typically in for adoption hours Wednesday 9/9 3p-7p and Saturday 9/12 10a-4p.Please note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).
