My story

Meet Dolly! 🐾 Dolly is a sweet, petite 1-year-old who is ready to leave motherhood behind and finally enjoy being a puppy herself! This little girl was asked to grow up much too soon, raising a litter of puppies of her own. She was a wonderful mama, and now that her pups are weaned, Dolly is ready for her next chapter—and she’s determined to make up for all the puppyhood she missed! At about 35 pounds, Dolly is a compact, athletic girl who is built for speed and fun. She loves people and absolutely thrives on attention, playtime, games, adventures, and outings. If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be your sidekick, Dolly is ready to apply for the job! Dolly is good on leash and loves other dogs, especially those who are up for a good game of chase, running, and tug-of-war. Her quick mind and young, agile body make her a wonderful candidate for training and could make her a fantastic future hiking, adventure, or agility partner. Dolly hasn’t spent much time living inside a home, so she’s still learning what it means to be a house dog. But she’s catching on! She is learning good house manners and consistently goes outside to potty. With patience, consistency, and a loving family, she’s sure to continue blossoming. Most of all, Dolly is ready to be someone's beloved companion. She has spent her first year caring for others. Now it’s her turn to be spoiled, have fun, learn new things, and simply enjoy being a young dog. If your idea of the perfect dog includes a little athlete, a playful best friend, and a whole lot of love wrapped up in 35 pounds of adorable, Dolly may be your girl! ❤️🐶 Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
