One flops down while the other stands up—what’s up with that? I’m not quite sure, but I do know one thing for sure: you’ll always be able to pick me out of a crowd of Yorkies! My one-of-a-kind ears are just another little thing that makes me uniquely me. I’ve only ever known life sharing it with another dog, and that special dog is my companion, Johnnie. We are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. I’m the more cautious one, and I look to Johnnie, my brave little companion, for confidence. We may have different personalities, but one thing is certain—we truly love each other and need each other. When the day winds down, there’s nothing better than curling up right beside my little friend and settling in for a cozy night’s sleep. Snuggling together is definitely the best part of my day! We both love people, too! Whenever we get the chance, we’re all over our foster parents, soaking up all the love, attention, and affection we can get. We simply love being close to our people and being part of whatever they’re doing. When we meet new people while out on our walks, I can be a little more cautious at first. I may need a little extra time to feel comfortable with someone I don’t know well. I also love going for walks, and my foster mom is so proud of how well I walk on a leash. It’s almost as if I was born to do this! And then there are toys! I absolutely love them. I’m always checking out the toy basket to see which toy needs to be played with next. Even though I’m a young dog, I have wonderful manners. I don’t get into things I shouldn’t, and I know how to behave like a very good little girl. I truly believe I was put on this earth to love and be loved. Now I’m searching for a forever family who will cherish me, keep me safe, and include me in all those little everyday moments that make life so special. And now, a few words from my foster mom: Cookie is a very sweet little girl who would love nothing more than to become your very best friend. She wants to be wherever you are and be part of everything you do. A home with someone around most of the time would be ideal for Cookie, as she truly loves her people and thrives on companionship, both humans and dog. Cookie looks forward to going out for a walk every day.  She may be little but she trots along as if the world belongs to her.  She has great manners in meeting other canines while out walking. She’s a happy, lovable little character with a zest for life, a talent for making people smile, and a heart overflowing with love. Cookie is the kind of companion who will happily follow you from room to room, keep you company throughout the day, and fill your life with affection.
