My story

MEET LEIA! This sweet senior girl is ready to finally know what it means to be loved. Beautiful Leia is an approximately 8-year-old Chihuahua who came into rescue after being neglected and largely ignored. She spent far too much of her life wondering when she would be cared for, and she came into rescue understandably timid and unsure of her new surroundings. But underneath that timid exterior is an incredibly sweet little girl who desperately wants to feel safe. ❤️ Leia is learning that she doesn't have to worry anymore. She doesn't have to wonder when her next meal is coming. She doesn't have to fend for herself. She can finally relax, be loved, and just be a dog. Leia would do best in a quiet, calm home where she can take her time adjusting and learn that she is safe. Her dream home is one where she can be someone's lap dog, curl up beside her favorite person, and be absolutely spoiled rotten. She is scheduled to receive a dental cleaning and have her nails done, giving her the fresh start she deserves.
