Poppy

My story

Adoptable dog alert, meet Poppy! She's a Shih Tzu with a black and white cookie colored coat. She's around 3 years old and just shy of 10 lbs. She's spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccines and monthly prevention. About Poppy: - Former pirate, actual princess and couch potato - Dog, cat, and kid friendly - Fenced yard preferred - Working on house, potty, and leash training Poppy the pirate princess recently decided to fully focus on her princess duties. She may have lost an eye in her previous pirate-y life but it doesn't slow her down in the slightest. She's becoming one of the cutest couch potatoes you've ever seen; and recently discovered that the best place to nap is on your lap! Princess Poppy is ready for her fur-ever family. She's rated for small dogs, cats, and respectful kids (5+). She needs patient and loving adopters who understand that she'll need time and encouragement to acclimate to her new home. She'd do best with people who are around more often than not, especially if she's going to be an only dog. If Poppy is your cookies and cream dream dog, we'd love to see an application from you! Read Poppy's full profile and submit an adoption application through our site: https://www.fawnssmalldogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs/poppy Keep in mind the following before you apply: - Adoption radius: 150 miles from Jacksonville, FL - Adoption donations: Each dog's donation listed in their website profile - Current pets: All other pets in the home must be spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention
