My story
My mother passed away in November 2025. Her partner agreed to care for Lydia, but was recently admitted to the hospital. My husband is allergic and so I cannot take her. She was adopted off the side of Lydia Mountain roughly 18 years ago, and has always preferred to live under a bed despite lots of love and attention. She comes out very seldomly, but does enjoy being read to. She is box trained.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lydia, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
