My story

I am looking for the right home for a dog that came into our care through an unexpected situation. She originally belonged to my next-door neighbors and actually grew up next door to us alongside her sister, who lives with us. When her owners began dealing with serious health and personal issues, they were no longer able to keep her and were considering surrendering her to the pound. Rather than see that happen, we brought her into our home. Unfortunately, we already have five dogs, and transitioning into a large pack has been difficult for her. She grew up in a much quieter home with an older couple and was never really accustomed to living with several other dogs. Most of the time she does fine, but there have been serious fights with some of our dogs, including one incident that resulted in another dog suffering a significant eye injury.
