My story

We adopted Arthur in 2022 as a companion for our other cat and for our first kid. We didn't have any issues with our cats and our kids at this point and seemed like a smooth transition when we brought our first home. Arthur is a very sweet cat and very friendly to everyone he meets. He loves playing and was good at transitioning with the other pets. They were OK with him in the house pretty much immediately but he also is the type of cat that would be OK on his own. We noticed he was peeing on the kids toys a lot and ultimately have made the tough decision to try and find him home where he will be happier and more comfortable. We have three kids under 6 years old right now and it's not a good fit for him in this environment. We would be open to him leaving with our other cat if the home was a right fit. They get along well, and we have concerns about him being unhappy as well.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Arthur, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
