My story

Note: Currently, Aesoon is in Korea, but will be arriving in Toronto once adopted.For more info about the dog or the adoption applicaiton, please click the link.BackgroundAesoon was rescued in December 2025 from a rural home in Hwaseong, Korea. She had been neglected, left chained outside with no proper shelter and food. Thankfully, she was rescued before her condition became any worse.Since her rescue, Aesoon has been staying at our partner boarding house, where she has been receiving the care, nutrition, and love she had been missing while she patiently waits for her forever family.Personality & SocializationAesoon is a gentle, sweet-natured dog with a calm and balanced personality. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take long for her to feel comfortable. She is friendly with both men and women, and once she knows she can trust you, her affectionate and loving personality quickly comes out.She has wonderful social skills with other dogs and gets along well with everyone she meets. Aesoon especially enjoys dogs who like to run and play together, making her a great companion for another friendly, playful dog.With a medium energy level, Aesoon enjoys her daily walks and playtime but is equally happy relaxing beside her family. She is quiet around the home and does not have any unusual barking habits.BehaviourAesoon is a well-mannered girl who takes everyday life in stride. She rides calmly in the car, behaves well during veterinary visits, and is cooperative during bath time. She also enjoys going for walks and exploring new places.She is not destructive and has no habit of chewing household items. Aesoon is simply a gentle companion who enjoys spending time with the people she loves. She currently prefers going potty outdoors and has developed good daily routines. She is an intelligent and adaptable dog who will settle into her new home with consistency and patience.Health and DietAesoon has been spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and is fully vaccinated.When she was rescued, she tested positive for heartworm. She has since completed her treatment successfully, received a full health check, and has been medically cleared for adoption. She is now healthy, happy, and ready to begin her new life with her forever family.Ideal HomeAesoon would thrive with a patient family that understands some rescue dogs need a little time to settle into a new environment. While she may be slightly reserved in the beginning, she blossoms into an affectionate and loving companion once she feels safe.A home with previous dog experience would be wonderful, and another gentle, confident dog would make an excellent role model and playmate. Aesoon enjoys the company of other dogs and would love having a canine friend to share her days with. She would be happiest in a quieter home where she can enjoy a peaceful lifestyle and spend plenty of quality time with her family.After everything she has been through, Aesoon is finally ready to experience the love and security every dog deserves. All she needs now is a family who will give her the chance to shine.
