*Note: Currently Kamjoo is in Korea, but will arrive in Toronto once adopted.For more info about the dog, or to submit your adoption applicaiton, please click here.BackgroundKamjoo was rescued from the Pyeongtaek City pound this spring, where he was facing the heartbreaking possibility of euthanasia. Thankfully, he was brought to safety and has been staying at our partner shelter with many other dogs. Now, he is waiting for the family who will give him the loving, permanent home he has been waiting for.Personality and SocializationKamjoo is a cheerful, affectionate boy who truly enjoys being with people. He loves attention and is always happy to come over for affection, pets, and cuddles. He is friendly with both men and women and has a sweet, gentle personality.Kamjoo is also very social with other dogs. He enjoys meeting new friends and often tries to encourage them to join him for a fun game or a run. He is a bright boy who learns quickly and responds well to people, making him a wonderful dog to spend time with and build a bond with.BehavioursKamjoo enjoys going outside and prefers to relieve himself outdoors. He walks nicely on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and is well-behaved during vet visits and baths. He is not a dog who barks excessively.Like many dogs, Kamjoo enjoys chewing on toys and can happily entertain himself with something appropriate to chew. Because he is especially people-oriented and loves companionship, he may experience some separation anxiety if left alone for extended periods.Health and DietKamjoo is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. He receives monthly parasite prevention and is healthy and ready to begin his new life. He eats dry food twice a day and has no known food allergies.Ideal HomeKamjoo would be happiest with a family that enjoys spending time with their dog and can provide regular walks, playtime, and companionship. A home where someone works from home or is retired could be an especially good fit for him, since Kamjoo loves having people around.He would likely enjoy living with another friendly, playful dog, but he could also be happy as the only dog in the home as long as his family gives him plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment.Kamjoo is a loving, playful, intelligent boy with so much affection to give. He has already been through a difficult start in life, and now he is ready for the forever family who will cherish him and show him how wonderful life can be.
