Athena

My story

Athena is very active but is also a huge snuggle bug. She is a velcro dog, so she will be happiest by your side whether indoors or outside. She loves to play tug-of-war and fetch, but will also self-play by tossing her favorite toys up and catching them.We do not crate Athena while at work or sleeping. We give her calming chews when she is anxious. Her fears are thunder, fireworks and bug zappers. She can take a minute to warm up to new people, but she will be your protector. She needs a safe home, a sense of purpose and an endless supply of ear scratches and belly rubs. She has shown physical aggression towards one of our other 2 female dogs, which our vet believes is her need to be the Alpha, so she would do best with larger, male dogs, or only dog homes. Athena just had her 3yr vaccinations. She is not picky about food or treats.Because of her size and strength she would do best in a home with older children. We have had Athena since 1/2/26 and we are heartbroken to say goodbye.
