My story

Name: Ford Estimated Birthday: 5/17/2026 Adoption Fee: $165 Meet Ford — Built Tough. Powered by Purrs. Runs Exclusively on Kisses. Some cats want independence. Some cats tolerate affection on a strict, appointment-only basis. And then there's **Ford**, who would like to know why you've stopped kissing him and whether you could please resume immediately. Ford is a tiny 2.5-pound cuddle machine who started life in one of the most unbelievable ways possible. At just **2 weeks old**, he fell out of a car engine. Yes. A car engine. Thankfully, this little guy was rescued, bottle-fed, and given the chance to grow into the sweet, healthy kitten he is today. And considering his automotive beginnings, **Ford** seemed like the only appropriate name. We're happy to report that this particular model comes with some excellent standard features: Approximately 5 pounds at full size. Premium Cuddle Package included. Unlimited-kisses compatibility. Dog-friendly technology. Automatic Toy-Chasing Mode. Litter box trained. And unlike some other models in his litter... **an exceptionally quiet engine.** Ford is the quiet, gentle soul of the bunch. While his siblings may be busy causing tiny-kitten mayhem, Ford is perfectly content finding his favorite person, curling up close, and settling in for some serious snuggle time. He **loves** being held. He **loves** being kissed. And once Ford decides you're his person, prepare yourself for an unreasonable amount of sweetness. He's even the caretaker of his litter, often grooming his siblings like a tiny overworked father who's wondering how he somehow became responsible for all these children. *"Hold still. Your hair is a mess."* Ford loves everyone he meets and isn't afraid of dogs, so he could potentially fit beautifully into a home with other furry family members. Because he's still tiny, children should be cat-savvy and understand how to gently handle a little kitten. He's playful like any youngster, but Ford's real superpower is affection. He's the kind of kitten who doesn't just want to live in your house—he wants to be **part of your life.** On your lap. In your arms. Probably approximately three inches from your face. Ford survived a pretty wild start to life, but you'd never know it from his gentle personality. He's loving, trusting, affectionate, and just waiting for someone to become *his* person. So if you're looking for a quiet little companion who will adore you, cuddle you, let you smother him in kisses, and occasionally make sure everyone else's hair is properly groomed... **Ford might just be your perfect model.** No extended warranty necessary. Just a lifetime commitment. If interested in adopting please visit our website at www.c2cnd.org to complete an adoption application. Adoption applications are accepted and reviewed from the Charlotte and the surrounding areas only. Our cat adoption recovery fee is $165 this includes: Spay/Neuter, Microchip, FELV testing, and Vaccines up to the time of adoption.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ford, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
