My story

Dudley has been through more than his fair share, but you'd never know it from the love he has to give. This 23-pound tan Chihuahua mix was placed on the euthanasia list because of a stubborn case of kennel cough. Fortunately, he got the second chance he deserved. Today, he's healthy, feeling great, and ready to find the family he's been waiting for. Estimated to be around five years old, Dudley may be a bit older, but age is just a number for this charming little guy. After a much-needed dental that included the removal of 14 painful teeth, he's feeling better than ever and is enjoying life with a bright, happy smile. Dudley's personality is every bit as wonderful as his story. He's incredibly sweet, loves affection, and happily leans into pets and attention from his favorite people. He's also making great progress learning to walk on a leash. While he still needs a little confidence, each outing helps him become more comfortable with the world around him. And then there's Dudley's unforgettable look. Imagine a Chihuahua who borrowed the legs of a much taller dog! His extra-long legs give him a one-of-a-kind appearance that's sure to turn heads and start conversations wherever he goes. Dudley also enjoys the company of other friendly dogs and would love a home where he can continue building his confidence while being surrounded by love. Dudley's adoption fee of $250 includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
