My story

Carolina - Female - Born 3/30/2026 Carolina is named after the spicy Carolina Reaper pepper, as she was quite the spicy little kitten when she first came into rescue. But she’s as sweet as pie now! Carolina and her siblings were rescued by a Good Samaritan who found them at a construction site. She had never even met a human up close before, and she was understandably fearful and defensive at first. With patience, love, and time, Carolina has blossomed into a sweet, snuggly girl who enjoys affection and cuddle time! Carolina is a bit reserved when meeting new people, so she'll need a little extra time to settle into her new home and build confidence with her adopters. Once she feels safe, her loving personality shines through, and she's happy to curl up for cuddles and quiet companionship. She takes her time assessing new situations and prefers a calm, predictable environment where she can feel secure. Carolina would thrive in a quiet home with patient adopters who understand that earning her trust is well worth the wait. Carolina does wonderfully with other cats (with a proper introduction), and would do best adopted with another sibling (Pimento is her partner in kitten crime!) or adopted into a multi cat home! She uses a scratching post well, has impeccable litter pan habits, and loves to be brushed. Carolina's Adoption fee is: $150 This includes Spay/Neuter, rabies vaccine, distemper vaccine, FELV/FIV Testing, pyrantel dewormer and microchip.
