My story

Chief is an approximately 1–2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with a heart as big as his smile. This handsome guy came to the shelter as a stray, but sadly, no one ever came looking for him. Now, Chief is hoping his next adventure leads him to a family that will love him forever.Chief is a sweet, affectionate boy who enjoys spending time with people and is ready to trade shelter life for a cozy home and a comfy bed. Whether it's joining you for walks, relaxing by your side after a long day, or simply soaking up all the love and attention you have to offer, Chief is ready to be your loyal companion.We have not yet tested Chief with other dogs or cats. If you have another dog at home, a meet and greet will be required to help ensure they're a good match.Chief is scheduled to be neutered, receive his rabies vaccination, and be microchipped on August 20, 2026. He is available for adoption before that date, with the adopter agreeing to transport him to his scheduled veterinary appointment.
