Penguin

My story

🐧💦 Meet Penguin — Professional Pool Lounger & Certified Good Boy! 💦🐧If there’s a kiddie pool around, you can bet Penguin has already claimed it! This approximately 5–7-year-old Border Collie mix is happiest when he’s splashing, soaking, and generally living his best poolside life. 😎🐾Penguin is a fun-loving guy with a big heart who enjoys spending time with his people and gets along well with other dogs. Whether he’s playing in the yard, going for a walk, soaking up attention, or taking a dip in his favorite pool, Penguin is happiest when he’s included in the action. One thing his future family should know: Penguin has been an outside-only dog, and he does have a tendency to “mark” in new places. So, he’s looking for a home that understands this little quirk and is willing to work with him—or simply doesn’t mind keeping a few extra cleaning supplies handy. 😉 His ideal family will be patient, understanding, and ready to give him the chance to adjust to a new environment. In return, Penguin promises plenty of tail wags, companionship, goofy moments, and, if you’re lucky, a front-row seat to his next pool party! 🏖️🐶Penguin is up to date on his DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccinations, has been neutered, and is microchipped.📞 Ready to meet your new pool buddy? Call the Chino Valley Animal Shelter at 928-636-4223, ext. 7 to schedule an appointment to meet Penguin!
