Meet Milo – 7 Years Old | 25 lbs | Jack Russell Mix (with maybe a little Beagle!) Some dogs come into rescue looking for a second chance. Milo came looking for a miracle. Milo’s story began on the streets, where he was hit by a car. His family was told he would never walk on all four legs again and decided they didn’t want to spend the money to save him. They chose euthanasia instead. But the veterinary team couldn’t let his story end there. The veterinarians and staff came together, raising the funds needed to give Milo the surgery, care, and rehabilitation he deserved. Today, this incredible little survivor is healed, thriving, and finally ready to find the forever family he’s waited so long for. Milo is a 7-year-old, 25-pound Jack Russell Mix with what we swear is a little Beagle mixed in—especially when he lets out his adorable little howl! He’s one of the easiest dogs you’ll ever meet. If you’re looking for a companion who isn’t going to jump all over your furniture or constantly demand your attention, Milo is your guy. He’s perfectly content doing his own thing while you’re at work or running errands, and he’ll happily greet you when you get home with his sweet, grateful personality. We truly believe he knows he was given a second chance at life, and he lives every day with quiet happiness. Inside the house, Milo gets around by scooting himself with impressive determination. Outside, he has his own custom wheelchair that allows him to safely explore the yard, enjoy the fresh air, and take care of his business just like any other dog.
