My story

🐾 Meet Lukas 🐾 Lukas is a handsome 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix who has spent nearly half of his young life waiting in rescue for a family to call his own. While he patiently watches other dogs leave for their forever homes, he’s still hoping his perfect match is out there. This smart, loyal boy is kennel trained, leash trained, and rides wonderfully in the car, making him the ideal companion for all of life’s adventures. Whether it’s a hike, a road trip, or simply exploring the neighborhood, Lukas is always ready to go wherever his people are. Lukas gets along well with other dogs when given a proper introduction and does especially well with smaller dogs. He would thrive in a home with older children who can join him in his adventures and respect his space as he settles in. Lukas has so much love, loyalty, and companionship to offer.
