My story

Hi, I’m Rue, I’m the pretty little black kittie with the thoughtful eyes and shy demeanor. I am fun and playful with other kittens, but I’m just a little shy around people right now, because my ancestors learned to thrive in their environment by being mindful of people around them. Don’t let my shyness fool you; I want love and attention, I’m just bashful about seeking it out. But you’ll see this when you gently scratch my ears while I am resting, and I will purr to let you know that this is very much appreciated. I am a little fluffball with love in her heart that is looking for that very special person to be forever friends with, and I think you might be that very special person for me. Just so you know, I have incredibly soft, fluffy black fur. In order to keep me looking my best, and prevent hairballs, I will need regular brushing. I hope you are up for that task as it is important to my health and good looks!
