My story

Samantha's story is one of incredible resilience and the power of compassion. On April 15, 2025, Samantha was found wandering the streets of Atixco, Puebla, Mexico, in heartbreaking condition. She was severely malnourished, suffering from an advanced case of mange, and desperately needed medical attention. She was immediately rescued and spent an entire month in the hospital, where she underwent extensive testing and received intensive treatment to heal her damaged skin and regain her strength. During her recovery, veterinarians also discovered that Samantha had kidney stones. She successfully underwent surgery, and today she has made a complete recovery. To help keep her healthy for years to come, she should continue eating a kidney care diet as recommended by her veterinarian. Now, the frightened, fragile dog who once struggled to survive has transformed into a happy, healthy girl with so much love to give. Samantha is affectionate, gentle, and wonderful with children and other dogs. She has a moderate energy level and enjoys playing, running, and spending time with the people she loves most. More than anything, she longs to be part of a family where she will always feel safe and cherished. Samantha has overcome so much in her young life. She has fought through illness, hunger, and pain with remarkable courage, and now she's ready for the happiest chapter of all-a forever home where she will never have to worry about being alone again. Could you be the family she's been waiting for? Samantha is ready to fill your home with love, gratitude, and endless tail wags.
