My story

We have made the difficult decision to rehome Daisy, who we adopted 6 months ago from a rehoming. She is a sweet dog and LOVES to snuggle under a blanket. She loves to go on hikes or sniff in the yard. She is good with other dogs (unsure about cats) and was previously housed with 2 other dachshunds who we think she misses. She has behavioral issues that were undisclosed to us. She is very fearful and is currently on 10 mg of Prozac for her anxiety and separation anxiety. She is very wary of strangers and will bark a lot, but she calms down after a short period. She has made progress with housetraining and only has rare accidents when we leave her alone for work. We love her and want to find her a home to give her the attention she deserves. She is shy and sweet but her personality comes out. She would do well in a calm home with no small children and at least one other dog. Must have experience with dogs. Experience with doxies/anxious dogs is a plus. Allergic to chicken and beef.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Daisy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
