My story

Meet Ma'lia with the softest brown eyes! Ma'lia is a 4-month-old mix of intelligence and gentleness with brown eyes and a striking dark face that's sure to melt your heart. Ma'lia is observant, smart and likes to take in the world around her before jumping into the action. Don't let her watchful nature fool you, though—she loves to play with her brother, Kona and the "big dogs" and enjoys all the fun that comes with being a puppy. Afterward, she's ready for a well-earned nap and belly rubs from her favorite people. Expected to grow into a medium-sized dog, Ma'lia is looking for a family who will help her continue to learn and build confidence while introducing her to all the adventures life has to offer. She already knows how to take herself outside via a doggie door and has been accident free in her foster home. She is quick to sit for attention and treats and is learning leash manners. Ma'lia is also up for adventures especially if they include water! Come meet Ma'lia and her brother, you just might find your perfect match! Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
