Meet Buck, an almost 9-year-old senior sweetheart with a heart full of love and years of loyalty to share. Since being rescued as a puppy, Buck has spent his entire life as the devoted companion to one special person, making him an expert cuddle buddy, TV-watching partner, and household sidekick. He is leash trained, crate trained, playful, affectionate, and still enjoys a good game of fetch, along with his favorite toys. Buck gets along well with other dogs, loves children, and is friendly with adults, making him a wonderful family companion. His ideal home would be one where he can spend plenty of time with his people, as he truly thrives on companionship and being part of daily life, though he is comfortable being left alone and crated when needed. Buck is generally easygoing and loving, but he can occasionally be cautious when unfamiliar men enter his home and may growl while he assesses the situation. He has never bitten anyone and simply benefits from slow introductions and reassurance. Buck is not a fan of cats and would do best in a feline-free home.
