My story

Isaac and Abram were living together near Inwangsan Mountain in Seoul, South Korea. They were never aggressive toward peoplein fact, they were gentle, friendly dogs who would warmly greet anyone they met. One day, a well-known Korean comedian encountered them while hiking. When Abram and Isaac approached him with trust and friendliness, he wasnt sure what to do, so he shared their story on Instagram, asking if anyone knew their owner or could help them. The post quickly gained attention across Korean social media. However, not long after, the dogs were reported by hikers and captured. They were taken to Dongguhyup, a municipal shelter where dogs may be euthanized if they are not rescued within a limited time. Later, DoReMi Rescue learned that Abram and Isaac were not simply abandoned pets. They had been living near the village by Inwangsan Mountain, where local residents had been quietly feeding and caring for them. When the community discovered the dogs had been taken away, they were shocked and heartbroken. Despite the online attention, no rescue group stepped forward to take responsibility for them. Concerned that the dogs might be forgotten once the attention faded, DoReMi Rescue contacted the shelter and asked to be notified if no one came forward. In the end, no one did. DoReMi Rescue stepped in and brought both dogs to safety. Since then, they have received full medical care, treatment, neutering, and daily support. Abram and Isaac are not just dogs who were briefly seen online. They are two lives who could have disappeared unnoticed once the spotlight faded. Today, they are safeand waiting for a family who will love them forever. When they were first rescued, Abram and Isaac looked very similar and relied heavily on each other. Initially, we thought Abram might be Isaacs father due to his larger size and more mature demeanor. Thats how they received their names. However, over time, their age difference appeared too small for that relationship. While their exact connection remains unknown, they are clearly closely relatedpossibly brothers. What matters most is not their biological relationship, but the deep bond they share. Abram naturally watches over Isaac, and Isaac finds comfort and confidence in Abrams presence. They are calmer, more secure, and happier when they are together. For this reason, we truly hope they can be adopted as a pair. Isaac is sweet, affectionate, and loves people. Compared to Abram, he has a brighter, more playful, and youthful personality. In new environments, Isaac may be slightly cautious at first. However, with a little time and patience, he warms up, approaches people, and shows his loving nature. He is comfortable with both men and women. He generally gets along well with other dogs, but his strongest sense of security comes from Abram. When Abram is nearby, Isaac is noticeably more relaxed and confident. His energy level is moderatehes not overly hyper, but he is still young and playful. He will benefit from regular walks, playtime, and basic training. Isaac has not shown any serious destructive behavior. However, as a young dog just past the puppy stage, he still has curiosity and playful energy. Providing appropriate toys, chew items, and supervision will help him adjust successfully in a new home. Isaac and Abram are deeply important to one another. Abram provides reassurance and guidance, while Isaac draws comfort and confidence from Abram. Both dogs are friendly with people, enjoy walks, and are outdoor potty trained. Their energy levels are moderate, but they will thrive with regular exercise, play, and a stable routine. Our hope is that Abram and Isaac will find a loving hometogetherwhere they can finally have the forever family they deserve.
