Sally Field has been doing wonderfully as she settles into life in her foster home! Shes a playful, affectionate girl who absolutely thrives in the company of other dogs in fact, we believe she needs a canine companion in her forever home to feel her most confident and comfortable.Sally Field loves people, though she can be a little shy at first. She takes her time building trust, but once youve earned it, youll have a loyal best friend for life. Her gentle nature and sweet personality truly shine through as she becomes more comfortable.Shes full of playful energy and adores her toys especially stuffed animals, balls, and bones. She enjoys staying active and would love a home where she has the opportunity to burn off energy through play and walks. Sally walks beautifully on both a collar and harness, though her curious husky nose can sometimes lead to a bit of pulling when something interesting catches her attention!Speaking of husky traits Sally Field isnt shy about expressing herself! She loves to talk and will happily chat with you in true husky fashion, adding lots of personality and charm to your day.Like the princess she is, Sally Field can be a little particular about her meals and prefers not to dine alone. After a fun day of play, shes happiest curled up on the couch enjoying snuggles with her people. While shed always choose cuddle time over bedtime, she settles nicely into her kennel and sleeps soundly through the night.Sally Field is still building confidence around young children, as quick or unpredictable movements can make her nervous. However, she has shown herself to be incredibly gentle even protective with her foster familys 10-month-old and 3-year-old. Shes learning more every day and continues to build confidence on walks. Shes currently walked using a gentle leader, which helps keep her more comfortable and controlled while she works through some of her fears and excitement outdoors. Squirrels, bunnies, and other dogs are all very exciting to her, and shes still learning that she doesnt need to chase after every furry friend she sees. She responds well to leave it and no, and already knows to stop and go when crossing streets. One thing that still really scares her is passing cars on her right side she may freeze or panic in intersections when this happens, so shell need a patient adopter willing to continue helping her feel safe and secure. She also takes comfort from confident dog friends and is noticeably braver around new people when she sees her foster brother happily greeting them first. After a tough start in life, Sally Field is learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She may need slow, positive introductions with men and new people, but she has already made incredible progress. With patience, consistency, and love, she will continue to blossom into an amazing companion.Sally Field is ready to find her forever home one filled with love, understanding, and maybe another dog to show her the ropes. In return, shell bring endless affection, companionship, and a few adorable husky conversations along the way.
