My story

Mia Hamm is a beautiful American Bulldog mix from Kentucky with a gentle soul and a quiet strength that shines through once you get to know her. Dressed in a sleek black coat, Mia is as elegant as she is loving. At first meeting, Mia Hamm can be a little shybut give her a bit of time and patience, and youll quickly see her sweet, affectionate personality emerge. She has done wonderfully with men, women, and children (including kids ages 6 and 11), showing that with a proper introduction, shes more than capable of becoming a devoted family companion.Mia Hamm gets along well with other dogs and even cats, making her a great fit for a variety of homes. This lovely girl is both house trained and crate trained. While she keeps her kennel clean, she may need a little adjustment period as she settles into a new homesomething very typical and manageable with routine and consistency. She walks nicely on a leash, enjoys car rides, and is comfortable being handled, making her an easy companion for day-to-day life.Mia Hamm has a medium energy levelshe enjoys her walks and some playtime but is just as happy to relax and be close to her people. Shes not a big barker and isnt destructive, making her a calm and steady presence in the home.Because she can be a bit unsure in new environments, Mia Hamm may be a slight flight risk at first, so a secure setup and careful transitions will be important while she builds trust. A home with a yard would be ideal for her to feel safe and comfortable, though more importantly, she needs a patient and understanding family who will give her the time she needs to fully blossom.Mia Hamm is spayed, healthy, and ready for her second chance at a forever home. If youre looking for a loyal, gentle companion who will reward your patience with deep trust and love, Mia Hamm may be the perfect match for you.
