Mango

My story

Mango was adopted in Dallas as a tiny 4-month-old kitten (est. birthday April 2019). She is incredibly well-mannered and low-maintenance. She is fully house-trained, doesn’t jumped on counters or tables, doesn’t beg for human food, and has never slept on our beds. She’s friendly with visitors, very patient with children, and actually enjoys belly rubs. She does well when left alone for weekend trips but is always thrilled to see us when we return and loves making up for lost time with extra cuddles. Mango has mild asthma that occasionally causes a dry cough (about every other day), but it has been stable for over 4 years and has never required medication or vet visits. We are sadly rehoming her because we have a long-term guest moving in who is allergic to cats. With a rough toddler and a new infant in the house, Mango also isn’t getting the attention and affection she deserves. She is a true lap cat who loves lying next to you or on top of you and turns into a little purr machine.
