Freya

My story

Freya is a sweet, playful cat who soaks up attention and love. She's an adaptable survivor who takes life as it comes and always seeks out the good parts. Freya arrived in our yard last year as a very young cat with a litter of kittens depending on her. She was thin and very hungry. She was spayed and her kittens adopted out over the fall and early winter. At that time Freya had enough unsocialized behaviors (mostly swatting), that she wasn't a good adoption candidate herself. But she continued eating, getting petting, and eventually started begging for lap time and snuggles. We expect that she will take some time to warm up to a new person, but she's proven very flexible so far in life. With some consistent feeding and her favorite churu treats, she'll soon be occupying your lap and purring up a storm. Freya knows how hard life can be, making her very grateful for good things — without losing her independent confidence.
