My story

Meet the incredible purring Polydactyl (extra toes) boy, Moet’. He is searching for a foster or adopter!  This fabulous boy sparkles with love , purrs, rolls over , and makes extra biscuits with his adorable paws! He’s a real love bug who can easily be picked up and put in your lap for cuddles and pets. He loves to play- especially with wand toys , balls, and kicker toys! He would absolutely thrive being an only cat with someone to cuddle and play with him! He’s extremely people oriented and wants nothing more than to be loved.  Moet has been through lot! When he wandered into our trap during a TNR project in the neighborhood and started to purr and make biscuits we knew he didn’t belong outside and was abandoned. We found out he previously had a collar that had since fallen off and no one was searching for this sweetheart. Just broke our hearts because we knew he deserved love and safety. Moet has taken a bit to get his health back on track after what his body endured outside .   He was been treated for parasites and fleas.  He is currently on Hills Biome prescription canned food - and regular dry food  . This has immensely helped his digestive system recover from the burdens of outside life , and at this time he should remain on it . We seek a foster or adopter that understands what he has been through and that this is what Moet needs to live his best life . Of course , the hope is in time his gut will recover and he can move off this and onto regular canned food :)  Moet’ is an  estimated 5 years old, neutered, negative for FIV and FELV, up to date on vaccines, and ready for a loving home !  To apply to foster or adopt his sweetie pie email nycatcoal@yahoo.com or call Joan at  (718) 671-1695June 15, 2026, 9:41 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Moet’ the polydactyl, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
