Mo

My story

Mo came to me through a friend, after failing out of a few adoptions due to poor placement. She was originally a stray, found in Eastern Montana. She's a pointer/pit/treeing walker hound mix and oh so cute.However, she is a complex case. She’s an absolute sweetheart to her person (which is me at this moment) but is wary of everyone else, due to unknown trauma before she came to us. Due to her sensitive nervous system, she needs a home that lacks the chaotic variable of multiple pets, children and regular visitors such as where she lives now. (She should not be around children, small animals, cats or livestock.)She does great with other dogs and I think she would do best in a calm setting with just one or two adults who are experienced dog owners and/or rehabbers.MoMo loves her hikes and is very athletic. She currently has access to a yard, but is also a couch potato, so might do fine in an apartment.
