My story

Sky was adopted from Wake County SPCA a few years ago, alongside her brother. We had a total of 3 cats including Sky up until a few months ago and she has been perfectly fine with the other two. She has always been timid but has come out of her shell in that time, for the most part. She gets a little skittish every once in a while. We recently rescued another young cat that had kittens and had lost them, and since then Sky was terribly aggressive towards her (after being very slow to introduce them and doing what we could to slowly introduce each other in our home). For whatever reason, she essentially seems to stalk and attack the new cat whenever her back is turned, and nothing we do will get her to stop. With a baby coming, we need to not have cats in locked rooms and being stressful. So even though it breaks my heart to pieces and makes me cry to even think about giving away my baby girl, we have to do so. I want her to go to a loving home, because she deserves to be happy

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sky, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
