Dottie

My story

I found Dottie’s mom in my yard in December of 2025. She was cold , hungry and very skittish. She would not come to me, so I put food, a blanket and a heat lamp on my porch for her. It took a while, but I finally won her over. I soon realized that she was going to have puppies. In February, she had the babies under my porch. I didn’t get to see them until they were old enough to follow her out into the yard. There were 4 of them. They are a little skittish too but I spend a lot of time with them and they are very sweet natured. Siri is now my faithful buddy, so I am keeping her and one of the puppies. I am very hopeful that Dottie and her two siblings will be welcomed into a loving home.
