My story

We are SO excited to introduce our very first FSDA dog – Tova!! We wanted our first intake to be from a local shelter, and we couldn’t believe it when we saw Tova sitting at Manatee County Animal Welfare. We jumped at the opportunity to spring her from the shelter, and we have fallen completely in love! Tova is a 3-4 year old female GORGEOUS dark sable German Shepherd and she truly is a dream. For a young adult German Shepherd, Tova is very mellow. She has plenty of play in her, but she loves to just hang out and observe. She is dog friendly, and has done well with cat introductions as well. Tova is crate trained, house trained and walks well on a leash. While she’d likely be fine with children of all ages, with her laid back attitude we think she’d prefer older kids if she is adopted by a family with children. She truly is a striking girl and we know she’s going to make some lucky GSD lover very happy!! Tova is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and scheduled to be spayed next week – after that she’ll be all ready to go! She is fostered here with us at Camp FSDA in Parrish, Florida and her adoption fee is $350.
