My story

Meet Huey Huey has quite the story to tell—and now he’s hoping for the happy ending he deserves. Huey, along with two other dogs, was found abandoned at a local golf course. After spending over a week in foster care while every effort was made to locate an owner, the trio made their way to our shelter to begin a brand-new chapter.Born around 4/8/2022, Huey is a true hound through and through! His nose is always to the ground, ready to lead him on his next adventure. He’s vocal, curious, and full of personality—never shy about sharing his thoughts with his signature hound bark. While he can be a talkative guy, Huey is also incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loyal to the people he loves.Huey is looking for a home that understands hounds and appreciates all the quirks that make them so lovable.
