My story

Mama Cat is a spicy semi-feral young calico with a playful personality and a loving heart. Last year, she came in from the rain and started visiting us regularly for food and comfort. On March 17th, she gave birth to six kittens in our bedroom. The kittens are now 9 weeks old, and four have already been adopted.Mama has been an amazing, protective mother and still nurses her babies. She is very vocal, plays with her kittens, and often scolds them like a true mama cat. She’ll let you know when she’s hungry or wants to go outside, though she’s currently been indoors caring for her babies. She loves fetch, cat toys, is almost leash trained, and is litter box trained. We live in a small one-bedroom senior apartment, so she needs a safe home with secure indoor/outdoor space. She is young, active, sassy, affectionate on her own terms, not yet spayed or vaccinated, but has been bathed, dewormed, and treated for fleas. We hope to find her a loving forever home, possibly with one of her kittens.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mama cat, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
