Lenny

My story

We are beyond heartbroken to be rehoming 2 y.o. Lenny.Despite constant socialization, Lenny has become increasingly reactive, especially towards children. He has now bitten 4 different kids including one of our boys, and is constantly growling and barking at anyone who walks by. We know his reactivity stems from a fierce protectiveness of his people, but unfortunately we fear for the safety of our boys and their friends. We enrolled him in a 3-week boarded training program where he gained new skills, but sadly even after training his aggression persists.Despite the reactivity, Lenny is the perfect companion. He is playful, silly, house trained and so smart. In the evenings he wants to be right next to you snuggled up on the couch. He’s great on walks or runs, and would love a yard to chase birds and bugs.There is a rehoming fee to ensure he does not end up in the wrong hands, which includes his training/vet records, platform bed, food, and other things he loves.
