Bowie

My story

Bowie and his sister Zoey were found at two weeks old along a creek in Atascadero, CA. I rescued them from a shelter at 12-weeks-old while I resided in CA. As of this month, May 2026, he is three-years-old. I transported him across the country in a large cat carrier and, while stressed, he did very well. Bowie is a cuddle bug but does not like to be held. He will snuggle up with you while you are reading, watching TV, crocheting, etc and will snuggle up to sleep with you at night. Every night at (his designated) bedtime he 'herds' me until I follow him to bed. I call him my goofy lover-boy. I am broken-hearted having to part with him but am moving to assisted living and cannot have him there. I am hoping that he and his sister will stay together as she is extremely timid and they have never been apart. I do not know how he would be in a house with other cats but he hides from other critters so would do best in a home with only he and his sister.
