He is a Sato, which means he is a Puerto Rican street dog, and his story is one that stays with you. For months, Beethoven survived alone in an abandoned house after being left behind. Day after day he waited, not understanding why no one was coming back for him. Despite everything he has been through, Beethoven has held onto his spirit and his love for people. This handsome boy is full of personality, energy, and life. He has a sweet face, a happy spirit, and so much love left to give. Beethoven would love a safe, loving home where he can finally relax and enjoy the rest of his days surrounded by comfort and people who care about him. Older dogs have a special kind of magic, and Beethoven is no exception. He is affectionate, resilient, and ready to finally be someone’s beloved companion. He is a very energetic dog and enjoys walks, fetch and hanging out with his human. He's a very happy go lucky boy. However, Beethoven would do best in a home where he is the only pet. Beethoven is being fostered in Millersville, MD. PLEASE READ: Any dog that is house or potty trained will still need patience in a new home with new people and a new schedule. Please be ready to train ANY dog you adopt! Also, please understand we can not guarantee breed or full grown size of any young dog or puppy. Thank you for understanding.
