My story

Harper Lee is hiring for the position of My Person(s), and as the hiring manager and sole decision-maker, she wants you to know a bit about her first. She's about a year old (DOB approx. 3/11/2025) and spent her early months outside with a colony. She's still discovering the wonderful comforts of indoor life. Her favorite spot is perched high on the cat tree, and you can win her heart fast with play and treats (turns out she's a total foodie). When it comes to working style, she's a big fan of scratches behind the ears and under the chin, enjoyed in focused little sessions rather than nonstop. She'll happily swat and dive at a wand toy for hours, full of energy and enthusiasm — she also insists on quality time together. As for communication, she's still learning to vocalize with hoomans, so her attempts sometimes come out as more of a squeak. She's caring, empathetic, and in tune with your emotions, though she also needs her nap time on a comfy bed to stay balanced. Her perfect candidate would be a patient, encouraging presence while she settles in, and someone who enjoys wand toys, since that's her favorite work task. In return, she offers honest, genuine companionship, lots of laughs, front-row seats to bird-watching and cat-tree adventures, and endless photo opportunities (she is, after all, very photogenic). As for team compatibility: she's down to make friends with other cats, as long as introductions are done properly; she's never worked with a dog before, so consider her a dog-industry newcomer; and she's happy to have kids on the team, as long as they respect her personal space.| Health information: All cats and kittens are spayed and neutered, preventatively dewormed, and microchipped.
